This website

This site sets no cookies and embeds no analytics. No profiling takes place, and no data is passed to third parties.

When the page is requested, your browser transmits technically necessary details to the server (IP address, time, address requested, browser identification). They are used solely to deliver the page and to fend off disruption. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The server is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany.

Fonts

The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. In doing so the provider learns the IP address of the request. Responsible for this is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Getting in touch

If you write or call, I use what you tell me solely to deal with your enquiry. A bill of quantities you send along serves only to check whether the app can read it; it is not passed on and is deleted immediately on request.

The App4Pros app

App4Pros collects no usage data and sends nothing to a server. There is no account, no sign-in and no sync service.

• All projects, ratings, descriptions, photos and reports stay on the device or in the folder you choose yourself.
• If you pick a folder in a cloud store (iCloud or Nextcloud, say), that provider's privacy terms apply.
• Speech recognition for dictation runs on the device. The app asks once for permission for the microphone and speech recognition, and once for the camera.
• There is no analytics, no advertising and no sharing with third parties.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. To exercise them write to th@thomnet.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; the competent one is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
